Recipe: Watermelon Frost


Here's an icy dessert that is better for the children than frozen pops that are all sugar.

Watermelon Frost

3 cups cubed watermelon


1/4 orange juice concentrate

3 T lemon juice

2 1/2 T sugar

Combine watermelon, orange juice, lemon juice and sugar in container of an electric blender; process until smooth. Pour mixture into an 8-inch square pan, cover and freeze until firm.

To serve, spoon frozen mixture into individual dessert dishes; garnish with a watermelon cube, if desired.
