THIS MONTH: Cinnamon Muffins A recipe from Laura Child's Oolong Dead Ingredients: 1 1⁄2 cups flour 1⁄2 cup white sugar 1⁄4 cup brown sugar, packed 2 tsp. baking powder 1⁄2 tsp. salt 1⁄2 tsp cinnamon 1 egg, beaten 1⁄2 cup oil 1⁄2 cup milk Sift together flour, white sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. In a separate bowl combine egg, oil, and milk, then add to dry ingredients. Stir just enough to moisten. Fill greased muffin tins about 2/3 full and bake at 400 Degrees for 16 to 18 minutes. |
